Our Latest Show News and Events

Having now recharged our batteries from Guys and Dolls last October and singing at Ragley Hall in the run up to Christmas, we are now working hard at rehearsals for our next event - our annual Spring Concerts. This year we will welcome on board students from the Alcester Academy who will be performing a few numbers. The concerts have proven to very popular with a mix of show tunes/contemporary and pop. This year we are really pleased to be singing "Wherever You Are" the christmas number one hit for The Military Wives. A collection will also be made to go to forces charities.

We hope you can join us!

There are two venues:

  • The Ark at St Laurence's Church in Alvechurch on Friday 30th March
  • The Town Hall in Alcester on Saturday 31st March

Both concerts start at 8.00 pm and tickets are only £6.00 from our ticket secretary on 01789 763446.

The two venues are very contrasting. The Ark is a very modern, glass and timber structure in the shape of the bow of a boat attached to the rear of the church. It has excellent access for all abilities. In contrast the Town Hall in Alcester dates back several centuries with its oak beamed ceiling steeped in the history and traditions of this old Roman Town. Just adjacent is the renowned Holly Bush Pub - a must for all good food and real ale lovers!
